Yoga
Yoga is a path
of exploration and discovery - a journey that leads us to
deeper connection with all aspects of life.
Over the past seven years, I have worked with several yoga
teachers that have been inspired by the teachings of Vanda
Scaravelli. I have studied with Bill Wood and Caroline Lang in Totnes Devon,
Carrie Tuke in London, and have attended workshops
with Diane Long, who was a pupil of Vanda's for
twenty-three years.
This way of working - the Scaravelli approach to yoga
practice - offers us creative ways of undoing tension in
our bodies by helping us to cultivate a greater quality of
awareness in body and mind. Benefits might include:

* greater ease of breathing
* stronger core muscles
* increased ability to feel the support of the ground
* more access to our being-ness, rather than our
doing-ness
